After being stuck in an on/off Covid-19 lockdown for the past 2 years, Sam, Davis and I were eager to get outdoors and out of our comfort zones. The idea of cycling from Montréal to Toronto was a topic that came up in conversation frequently. We set out in September 2021 to cycle unexplored roads.

Though there were a generous amount of bike trails at our disposal, the trip required us to travel many harsh roads in harsh conditions at times.

The overlaying images of Montréal and Toronto visualize how the hours spent on the bike blurred together as the days went on, which was proven to be true at the end of the trip. We questioned if we had completed the 600km trip when we reached our destination

During the trip, I was eager to capture footage with the goal of creating a behind-the-scenes timeline of the trip. Capturing pre/post-ride interviews shared an inside look at how everyone was handling the ride each day.
